Maniwaki Adult Education Centre has made me realize that I can do it, I can graduate! I used to always say I couldn’t do it and that was my problem, but thanks to the support I’ve received from family, friends and the students and staff at school, my self-confidence is back up and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished!
I enjoyed my experience at the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre. It presented a challenge to learn so much in such little time. However, the family atmosphere and support of the teaching staff made it easier to face up to the challenge. Since my graduation I’ve carried with me the skills I need to facilitate the learning process on the job of an ever changing business world.
I think that the more education you have, the more doors will open. My high school diploma, Early Childhood Education diploma, Secretarial Studies diploma and Small Business Attestation Certificate are accomplishments I am very proud of. I plan to continue my education, because
I believe in lifelong learning!
The Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre was an awesome place to be.
I went there mainly to finish French but ended up liking Math! I met some really awesome people, great teachers and friends. Returning to school gave me many opportunities to explore different interests, including working with the Wapikoni Mobile to make my own film. My film was chosen to be presented in Montreal, Toronto, Mexico and France.
I am currently attending the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre and I will be graduating in June 2013. The Centre has helped me to succeed in accomplishing my goals and has given me the confidence to pursue
a university degree in teaching.

Shortly after graduating, I was able to secure my current full- time job as an Accounts Payable Clerk for Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg and have been in this position for over 13 years now. Without these certificates, I may not have had the opportunity.
Maniwaki Adult Education Centre has made me more confident in setting my goals. I enjoy the school spirit here of both staff and students. I would like to wish all great success in their future endeavors.
Education is one of the key ingredients to success, along with passion, hard work, a dash of cumin sprinkled with a positive attitude, lots of heart and a hint of maple syrup. No one ever said it was easy but I love what I do! I attended the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre to complete my last credit course to obtain my high school diploma and touched base with accounting. I completed both college at Algonquin and worded in the culinary field and I am now the owner of Wawatay Catering!
The Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre helped me gain confidence and is preparing me to be independent with my studies. Thanks to the teachers, I am now one step closer to a diploma and attending college.
The Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre taught me that I need not be so hard headed and to welcome different opinions. The college I went to was also self-paced and
I finished a one-year course in 8 months. So I am a firm believer that if you set your mind to it, anything is possible!

Attending the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre helped me finish English and get to the levels of French and Math I wanted to accomplish. Thanks to all the great teachers and their patience with me and those who believed in me, I will be attending Fashion Design at Algonquin College. They showed me that I can do what I want and to just go for it! Thanks Maniwaki Adult Ed!
By continuing my education at the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre I was able to advance my math and writing skills to a much higher level which has allowed me to pursue a career in project management/ coordination in the construction industry.
I graduated from the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre with a high school diploma and a professional diploma in Hotel Reception. After that, I continued my education at Algonquin College to realize my dreams. Now, I own my own small restaurant and have a college diploma in Culinary Management. Thank you Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre!
My experience and success at Maniwaki Adult Education Centre allowed me to pursue a career with the City of Ottawa Social Services Department as an administrative clerk. Being in this field of work has taught me that I can do more and thanks to my education I am now able to apply to the University of Ottawa this fall to obtain the further education I need to become a Case Coordinator within my field. Thank you Maniwaki Adult Education Centre!
Being at the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre was like a second chance to succeed in life. The teachers there helped me realized this and motivated me to continue with my education. I have been here for two years and I’m almost done. I know all the doors to education will be open to me soon. Thanks for everything you taught me!

I completed the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre high school upgrading program. I then completed the Secretarial Studies program. My education has helped me pursue my career and got me to where I want to be in life.
Thanks to the help and encouragement of the teachers at the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre, I obtained my high school diploma in June 2011. I am currently in my second year at Carleton University and I am working toward obtaining a law degree.
Returning to school after having 2 kids wasn’t easy, but with the help of Maniwaki Adult Education Centre, I gained the confidence to achieve my goals, and the inspiration to continue on my educational path.
During my studies, I went through some personal transitions which made my life difficult. With the support of the great teachers and staff, I persevered and through my hard work and dedication, I graduated with a DVS in Accounting, was honored with the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec award, Student of the Year and Valedictorian. I also learned that no matter what obstacles are in our path, we can overcome them and push forward to complete our goals.
I graduated in June 2009 from the Maniwaki Adult Education and Vocational Training Centre. Adult education has improved my life by opening many doors, but for now I have chosen to focus my time and energy on raising my precious son; one of my life’s most important jobs. I plan on attending college in the near future and becoming a cosmetologist. I am very thankful to
